Donald J. Trump, You Are Not God

Anyone who demands blind loyalty is a false God.

We Jews don’t play that way. You went too far. I don’t know what your game is, Sir, but at this point I am off the Trump train.

“Former president Trump on Friday claimed Jewish leaders have displayed a ‘lack of loyalty’ amid the backlash over his dinner with Kanye West and white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

“‘How quickly Jewish Leaders forgot that I was the best, by far, President for Israel,’ Trump said on Truth Social. ‘They should be ashamed of themselves. This lack of loyalty to their greatest friends and allies is why large numbers in Congress, and so many others, have stopped giving support to Israel.’”

With this statement Trump has gone too far.

Sir— you are not God.

We Jews do not need you.

I’ve been a cheerleader for “drain the swamp” and all that good stuff, but I draw the line when you demand to be worshiped by my people.

If you had accidentally (yeah right) hosted a bigot against any other group—you would never dare to speak this way against them, demanding their loyalty over and above basic dignity, morality and common sense.

Two cents:

I am confident that all of this is calculated behavior on Trump’s part to show that he doesn’t need the Jews.

Okay then.
