I do believe that most people are good, but I am a sociologist. From that perspective, I know that it is the social institutions around us which often dictate our behavior, making it impossible for most people to fight back.
Child sexual abuse must be vigorously fought like the cancer and rot it is–at the level of the institution. Not just at the level of the activist.
SEXUAL PREDATORS ARE CRIMINALS

HOLINESS AND SEXUAL IMMORALITY CANNOT COEXIST
“You shall not desecrate My Holy Name.” (Leviticus 22:32) — obviously CSA is a desecration of God’s Word
“You shall not defile your daughter by making her a harlot, lest the Land fall into harlotry and the land be filled with immorality.” (Leviticus 19:29) — self-explanatory and applies to children of any gender
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ACT WHEN PEOPLE’S LIVES ARE THREATENED

RELIGIOUS LEADERS ARE TO HUMBLY SERVE AND MAY NOT PROFIT FROM THE TORAH
“Now this man Moses was exceedingly humble, more so than any person on the face of the earth.” (Numbers 12:3)
“Do not make the Torah a crown to magnify yourself with, or a spade with which to dig. So would Hillel say: one who makes personal use of the crown of Torah shall perish. Hence, one who benefits himself from the words of Torah, removes his life from the world.” (Ethics of the Fathers 5)

THE TORAH MAY NOT BE MANIPULATED
