We have to assume that other pandemics will occur. How can society prepare?
Develop methods of stopping the spread of disease which are automatic, noninvasive, inherently beneficial.
Example: Use commercial-grade air cleaners to extract and destroy air toxins. Use light to sanitize the surfaces we touch. Encourage exposure to fresh air and sunshine, which promotes a robust immune system response.
Don’t rely on forced masking. Not only is it not a panacea, but it actually backfires as a public health strategy due to the level of social control necessary to implement it.
