Update May 16, 2023, 6:20 pm Eastern: The censors won.

Previously…
Below is LinkedIn’s response as to why they “temporary restriction” on my account. Basically they are enforcing the Ukrainian regime’s propaganda.

Below is the post in question. It is actually a quote from Ilya Kiva, expelled from Ukraine’s Parliament for opposing the war.

Along with the post I provided a machine translation of Kiva’s statement of February 22, 2022.
“A little more than $1.2 billion has accumulated in the accounts of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Costa Rica in Dresdner Bank Latinamerika for two and a half years of ruling the country.
Regular replenishments in torn tranches of $12-35 million come through different channels, such as Rynata Akhmetov and Viktor Pinchuk through First Union Bank and Deutsche Bank, as well as Igor Kolomoisky from his Geneva bank accounts of the Banque Nationale de Paris.
It is absolutely clear that without the control of the authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany and France, the movement of funds withdrawn from Ukraine by the IMF and transnational corporations, including the giants Big Pharmacy, is impossible.
Among Zelensky’s major purchases from his own accounts, there was the purchase of a villa in Miami for $34 million, as well as 8 sets of jewelry decorated by Graff for ₽5.6 million.
In addition to the President of Ukraine, the Dresdner bank has an account with the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Ermak for a modest $56 million, and with Svetlana Tykhanouskaya for $4.5 million, most of which she transferred in December 2020 to the HSBC bank in the London office.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk (Senya-stena) also has an account at the Dresdner bank branch in Miami. Every president and his team, after the term of their stay, left as dollar billionaires, and Zelensky, despite all his flaws, was no exception, but in his case, no one would let him just leave. Prison awaits him.Ukraine is being robbed and systematically destroyed – Ukraine needs help and liberation!!!”

The context of all this is Ukraine’s own massive disinformation campaign.

They have shut down the political opposition.

Ukraine has effectively shut down churches for being “Russia affiliated”—introducing a legal ban and even raiding them.
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a new law that bans certain religious groups from Ukraine may be key to securing ‘Ukraine’s spiritual independence.’”

It is possible that the US is actually behind Ukraine’s moves.

We know American citizen Gonzalo Lira was just arrested in Ukraine for “suspicions of harboring pro-Russian sentiments.”

Here is my response to LinkedIn tonight.
Dear LinkedIn,
My post was fully sourced — to senior Ukrainian politician Ilya Kiva. I attach the post.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illia_Kyva
The link was provided in the post and it is still live. Mr. Kiva wrote the words you quote on Telegram in February 2022. The public is not in a position to evaluate a statement by a senior Ukrainian official. It is newsworthy simply because he said it.
Ilya Kiva in fact was expelled by Zelensky from Parliament because he vocally opposed the war (“provocative statements”).

Again, this is a pattern of Ukraine criminalizing dissent.
Volodomyr Zelensky has shut down his political opposition, but there is no lack of evidence as to the political patronage of Mr. Zelensky by oligarch Kolomoisky, who is not allowed to enter the USA.
My post accumulated 4,000+ views before one user commented that I should “shut down my account.” Clearly the user reported the post.
Within the USA, there is also media coverage of Ukraine receiving support from the FBI in its propaganda efforts.
“The Federal Bureau of Investigation pressures Facebook to take down alleged Russian ‘disinformation” at the behest of Ukrainian intelligence, according to a senior Ukrainian official who corresponds regularly with the FBI’

The bottom line is that the information does not violate the policy. It simply does not match Ukrainian propaganda.
I kindly request the full restoration of my account. LinkedIn is not an arm of the Ukrainian regime and should not be defining information based on Ukrainian propaganda.
My posts are meticulously sourced. They are not misleading. They are not “spam.” They are truthful, logical, and sincerely shared.
Sincerely,
Dannielle Blumenthal
