Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh continues his reporting on Ukraine. (His previous story implicated the United States in sabotaging the Nord Stream pipeline.) He begins from the recent Washington Post article about the leak of classified American intelligence documents on Discord. WaPo reported: “The Pentagon, where senior U.S. military leaders were briefed on the matters outlined in the leaked documents, did not dispute the authenticity of the materials.”
One of the things the leaked intelligence said was that Zelensky was plotting to attack Russia inside Russia’s borders even though he had promised the U.S. not to do that.
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has won the trust of Western governments by refusing to use the weapons they provide for attacks inside Russia and prioritizing the targeting of Russian forces inside Ukraine’s borders. But behind closed doors, Ukraine’s leader has proposed…occupying Russian villages to gain leverage over Moscow, bombing a pipeline that transfers Russian oil to Hungary, a NATO member, and privately pining for long-range missiles to hit targets inside Russia’s borders, according to classified U.S. intelligence documents detailing his internal communications with top aides and military leaders.”

Hersh reports that according to his sources, Biden is not in command.
“I have been told that some of the better intelligence about the war does not reach the president, through no fault of those who prepare the often contrary assessments. Biden is said to rely on briefings and other materials prepared by Avril Haines, director of National Intelligence, since the Biden Administration came into office. She has spent much of her career working for Secretary of State Anthony Blinken….it’s not clear to those in the CIA who prepare the President’s Daily Brief that Joe Biden is a regular reader of their intelligence summary. The document is usually three pages.”

UPDATE: The fighters of the self-proclaimed “Russian Volunteer Corps,” a unit within the Ukrainian Armed Forces comprised of Russian citizens who willingly defected to Ukraine, have taken responsibility for the raid in the Belgorod Region.
Interestingly, as per the information currently available, the RVC has not been acknowledged as a terrorist organization or prohibited within Russian territory up to this point.”
