“Hasan Salama, often celebrated as a Palestinian national hero, was in fact famously a Nazi agent trained, armed, and equipped in Nazi Germany, sent to the Middle East to murder Jews and kill Palestinians who believed in co-existing with the Jewish state.
In 1941 Slama left the Middle East for Berlin where he was given an office, married a German Nazi woman, and served a member of a special commando unit of the German foreign intelligence organization Amt VI.
Salma, three other Germans, and one more Palestinian individual would lead Operation ATLAS, where they were parachuted by a Nazi Luftwaffe airplane near Jerusalem with explosives and weapons.
They were also given poison capsules with which they were to poison and murder moderate Palestinians, radio transmitters for local Palestinian groups that would want to work with the Nazis to help Germany take British mandate Palestine, and help implement the final solution on the Jews living in British mandate Palestine.
During this whole time Salama was on SS payroll.
