A Comment On The Arab Woman Who Blew Out The Menorah Candles

It happened at Weizmann Mall in Israel.

The level of pleasure evident in the woman’s face suggests consistency with the pathology of sexualized violence we saw on October 7. It is not a gender-specific pathology.

Since this type of pleasure is both deviant and common it suggests to me that we are looking at a cult.

This also explains why she and the man visually look to each other for validation, as it makes no sense on its own: A lit menorah has nothing whatsoever to do with the Zionism she opposes.

This moment also shows that the claim “It’s only about Israel” is false.
