How can you make a false statement to an officer…if you never actually made a statement to an officer? McGreevy was working undercover, told someone else what he saw, and she emailed the police.
McGreevy was never actually convicted of making any false statement to anyone. The case was closed.
A direct signature comparison between an earlier signature and McGreevy’s May 11, 2023 “apology” signature (remember, the case had already been closed) shows significant differences. Here are just a few of them.
1. The first signature (the larger one near the top, starting with a crossed-out or x-marked portion followed by “Ry_Du_lk” style text) is noticeably larger, more sprawling, and horizontally extended. The second signature (lower down, dated May 11 23) is more compact, shorter in horizontal span, and appears written with less flourish or extension.
2. The first signature is harder to read and has more stylized or rushed strokes (e.g., the “R” and following letters blend heavily, with what looks like an underline or flourish underneath). The second signature is relatively clearer and more controlled — individual letters (especially the “R”, “y”, and “n” in Ryan) are more distinct and separated, giving it a slightly more deliberate appearance.
3. The first signature includes a small “x” or cross mark just before the name (possibly indicating “his mark” or an initial placeholder), while the second signature lacks any such prefix mark and starts directly with the name.

A jury trial (as opposed to the judge deciding) was demanded. It never happened. McGreevy signed an “apology” on May 11, 2023, and the case was closed the same day.
On May 18, 2023, Harford County Sheriff Gahler issued a video statement via YouTube in which he read McGreevy’s “apology” letter. Five days later, McGreevy took a shower, laid down in bed, and someone bashed his head in. The coroner’s report did not call it murder. He died.
Sheriff Gahler took the opportunity to read part of McGreevy’s “apology.” It begins: “On April 9 2022 I went to work at The Mistress….” McGreevy disclosed the information and was poisoned almost immediately afterward. Those posts to his Telegram have been wiped.

At the time that McGreevy exposed what he had discovered (April 2022), Gahler was running for reelection. McGreevy was arrested on July 15, 2022 on probable cause of submitting a false report (which he never submitted). The primary for sheriff was held July 19, 2022. Gahler won, and he won the general election in November too.

Ridiculously, because traffickers conceal their crimes, on July 15, 2022 (four days before the primary) Harford County posted in a press release that “On July 7, 2022, detectives interviewed White. The investigation revealed at no time were any sex acts performed or offered by any of the individuals in the establishment as reported by White.”
Gahler claimed that McGreevy, while working undercover, made up the extremely detailed story of the child trafficking he discovered…so that he could gert elected for office. Quote: “‘It is shameful that a candidate for public office would make up such a story and use it to further his own political agenda’ said Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey R. Gahler. ‘It is even more appalling, that another individual, who is running for a law enforcement position, would embrace such an obviously false narrative in an effort to gain political traction – nothing more.’”

In a video posted June 9, 2022, one month after alleging the child trafficking and also after being poisoned, McGreevy gave an interview on YouTube where he described what he saw. ChatGPT flatly refused to transcribe it due to the graphic allegations.
For context, Harford County has a recognized problem with child trafficking, and they do actively work this issue. It would however have been embarrassing to Sheriff Gahler for a well-known social media whistleblower like McGreevy to be speaking out on it.
Also for context, if you knowingly cause a false report on child trafficking, that is a crime.
McGreevy did not trust the sheriff. July 18, 2022: “I met with them a couple of weeks ago, the police, Harford County Sheriff, and they gave me homework. They said, send us everything. Anything you got pertaining to the store, send it. We might find something in the background we can use, anything. And they were comfortable. They thought I sent them everything. They were comfortable that they had everything, so they were comfortable making up their lie because it was their word against mine. It’s worth quoting McGreevy further: “They lied to everyone. They even lied to my attorneys to get me over there to meet with them. They told them that there was a girl in jeopardy, several children, they wanted me to look at pictures. And I had to show up because children were in jeopardy. And of course, I’m going for that. And that’s why I went. I got there, and they’re laughing, thought how stupid I was.

And he said, I got a video to show you. And he showed me the video from the store. And you can clearly see I was nowhere near the girl. It starts off with her over by the ATM wiping her face off next to her grandfather. I’m behind the counter 30 feet away at that point. And I’m yelling at them, you got to leave. You got to go. Because at that point, I didn’t know anything had happened.”

They told some people and actually signed up a couple of weeks later for a child protection conference here in Maryland, and they did nothing, but somebody contacted them. They forwarded the information. They forwarded it to someone else. They forwarded it to the state and to Homeland Security. I wanted to spend a bit of time on the McGreevy story because if you look him up, you quickly see how the media worked to discredit him. When you look further, the truth bears no resemblance to the narrative.
In addition, McGreevy claimed to have been set up on drug charges as well as poisoned and tortured in jail (these are transcripts widely available). But no matter how much they came at him, he kept on going, kept trying to save the children and save the Nation.
There can only be two reasons for that. Either he saw some very bad things as a child, or he found God, or both.
