On this Joe Kent thing: I think the bigger problem is that we don’t know who is and isn’t compromised—not just with bots on social media, but the actual officials, the things that they’re saying, and former officials, journalists, and people whose opinions influence a lot of people, podcasters.
Are they organic? Are they speaking from the heart, from what they believe, from what they research, from what they know? Or has someone got into them? Not just money and not just greed. Has someone literally got into them—blackmailed, bribed, threatened, maybe propagandized and radicalized?
We need to really ask questions.
