In January 2021, Dr. Jon McGreevy (operating under the alias Ryan Dark White) publicly identified DEA Special Agent Joseph Rosati as a corrupt officer. Following this accusation, Rosati reportedly left a voicemail containing a threat directed at McGreevy. This recording was later obtained by Garrett Ziegler and posted to Telegram in September 2021. In the message (attached), Rosati specifically referenced McGreevy’s whistleblowing activities and warned that he would “not do well” in jail—a significant threat given McGreevy’s previous allegations of being tortured while in custody. Tragically, McGreevy died a violent death in 2023, with the cause of death identified as blunt force trauma. Despite the circumstances, a formal murder investigation was never launched because the coroner ultimately deemed the autopsy findings inconclusive.
