So yesterday, I was talking to a person whose family is from Iran. They didn’t bring it up themselves, but I asked, “Where are you from?” Once they told me, I asked, “Are you thinking about the situation going on there?” Immediately, the response I got was all about the current state of Iran.
I’ve actually seen other people who I know are Iranian looking at their phones nonstop; I see them around the neighborhood. I already knew why they were doing that, but I asked anyway: “Are you thinking about what’s going on?”
The answer was a very worried, “Yes—and don’t believe Tucker, Candace, or any of these liars on social media.”
