Well, two new stories broke today. One was the attempted assassination of President Trump at the White House Correspondence Association dinner on April 25th. The other is that Hamas is sexually assaulting boys, women, girls, and basically trauma bonding them.
Both of these stories have in common that intense trauma can be the only way to do that. The only thing behind such violent behavior as we saw at the dinner and as we see in Gaza. And ongoing sexual assault of women, boys, and girls is not being covered, it’s not being reported, but it is very, very real.
We need to look at the trauma behind the radicalization and violent behavior that people are exhibiting today. Not to excuse it, but to understand the connection.
