You cannot convict all men for the offenses of some men, any more than you can convict all White people for racism and so on.
Here I reshare most of my response to a comment/question asking how I could possibly support men’s rights in the Gett process when so many have weaponized their halachic advantage:
I don’t deny that men use the Gett for personal gain. Without going into detail, I can verify that this is true. I know it’s a longstanding problem as well. That is why we have organizations dedicated to helping women. It’s why there are standard prenuptial agreements in the first place. They may be imperfect in that you cannot genuinely coerce a man to give a Gett. But they help.
My problem in this case is that the genuine and well-founded concerns people have for women as a group have turned into a mob-mentality travesty of justice. And all of it is instigated by one certifiable apikorais named Adina Miles Sash.
This absolute fraud, who positions herself as an Orthodox advocate for suffering women, makes a living leading women off the path.
She is not Orthodox — she advocates for Ervah campaigns where real pornographic images of Jewish women are shown, where women go on Instagram and remove their tichels, where women say they are abandoning Halacha thanks to her.
She considers the Gett crisis to be reducible to a lack of sex.
She explicitly targets Jewish girls of marriage age. She is now telling them to marry non-Jews.
And she has, without the consent of the woman involved, taken a complex international custody and civil divorce case in active litigation and turned it into a domestic abuse scenario by the man.
No less than Shabbos Kestenbaum called for his excommunication despite admitting he knew nothing about the case.
The BDA meanwhile says nothing.
Not every man is automatically guilty of Gett abuse, but thanks to self-interested grifters like Sash and politically correct Jewish leaders, anyone who says “wait a minute that’s not fair” is automatically branded as a “domestic abuse enabler.”
You should know that I initially supported Sash’s “Free Adeena” campaign because I didn’t know any better. I simply trusted her.
Then I found out about her smut campaign. The images were actually so bad that I didn’t save them on my phone. They are disgusting filth.
For commenting on her Instagram post to this effect, she told me I was a “domestic abuse enabler who should be reported ASAP,” eg signaling to her followers to do so. The next day she sent me a direct personal threat.
A true nut job, but she has everybody fooled.
