FAKE NEWS ALERT: The FreeAdeenaNow.com site just launched by Adina Sash, aka FlatbushGirl, contains a fundamental lie concerning the origin of the Raphi Stein / Adeena Kohn divorce.

To be clear, Raphi Stein is suing her a@@ off. And not only her. he is actually amending the original complaint to include both Adeena and members of her family for sending private materials to FlatbushGirl.

In effect, if this is true, Adeena is circumventing the intended purpose of the civil divorce litigation process by using FlatbushGirl to do her talking for her.

Helping a firebrand defame her ex, when the civil divorce is not yet final, is not the smartest thing to be doing.

In any case, the story being told online is designed to trigger viewers, but it is conveniently fact-free in at least one significant respect: the claim that Stein sent Kohn a “Fake Divorce Filing” an hour before Shemini Atzeres 2021, on Monday, September 27.

In fact, as court records show, the document was sent A FULL DAY BEFORE THE JEWISH HOLIDAY, on Sunday, September 26, and the reason for the delay was that STEIN WAS WAITING FOR ADEENA’S LAWYER to provide input on the draft. Stein’s words were “I worked on our paperwork today.”

ADEENA KOHN NEVER ANSWERED THIS MESSAGE.

FlatbushGirl spends page after page of Instagram time arguing that Raphi was trying to terrify and intimidate Adeena. The court records show that her concocted fable is complete fake news.

The site claims the Kohns were “Awaiting Quebec counsel’s reply” after Yom Tov. Another lie.

On September 29, 2021, Stein texted Kohn with an amicable draft text message announcing their separation. Quote: “Adeena will be living in Monsey with the kids there most of the time, and I will likely be somewhere else.”

He never sent that message.

On October 2, 2021, here is the message he did send to his family: “Adeena (her mother really) has hired a very expensive lawyer to try to keep the kids in Monsey permanently.

A year prior, on October 16, 2020, this same mother, Rivka Kohn, met with a well known agunah divorce lawyer, James Sexton (think Lonna Kin) on Adeena’s behalf.

FlatbushGirl defames Raphi Stein as an abusive, coercive, manipulative, vengeful ex determined to drag out the Gett process just to torture Adeena while she is in the full flower of her reproductive years.

The truth is that Adeena, or perhaps we should say Rivka, orchestrated a divorce filing wherein Adeena would gain complete control over custody.

In fact, Rivka was the one who actually co-drafted a divorce and Gett agreement for Stein to sign. The proposed agreement included Stein actually leaving his children completely for a period of no less than three months, during which time he would be required to undergo “intense therapy and see a psychiatrist to get medication if necessary.”

Bear in mind that it was Rivka’s daughter, Adeena, who was still just recovering from a psychotic break.

Understand also that New York State (which conveniently has DRL 253 aka the Gett Refuser Law)

Raphi understood very well that he was being set up by his mother in law, and his response on October 29, 2021, was to tell her to go fly a kite.
