On June 23, 2026, former Israeli hostage Ilana Grizewsky testified before the UN Human Rights Council, confronting Reem Alsalem, the Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls.
Alsalem is openly biased against Israel:
She asked, “Your report speaks of violence against women. Why is there no mention of Hamas?”

Please note that the terrorists live-streamed their actions, used GoPro cameras, and sent footage to the victims’ families.
How can someone be a specialist in sexual violence against women and girls while treating a survivor of that violence in such a manner?
The UN has been involved in scandals regarding child rape by its own personnel, raising concerns about the nature of the organization itself.
There was evidence of people celebrating the sexual violence as it occurred.
One of the most notorious images from October 7 was the body of a woman on a pickup truck surrounded by terrorists.
Alsalem serves as a propagandist for the very terrorists she claims to be confronting regarding the sexual violence they commit.
Alsalem acts as part of the Hamas machine by claiming that Israel fabricated stories of rape to justify a genocide that never happened.
Jewish people today are suffering from significant bias, harassment, and violence because many believe these claims—a situation exacerbated by individuals like Alsalem who, while representing the UN, provide false information to the public.
