You know, what we saw with President Trump and the Iran MOU—that horrendous Iran MOU—which his so-called social media advisor, Alex Bruesewitz, defended to the point of labeling anyone who questioned it as an ‘influence operation’ or a ‘bot.’

That Iran MOU, and the way President Trump seemed to stand behind it and send Vice President Vance out there with all the bluster and talk, really, truly unsettled me.

It scared me; it was a PSYOP. And I am one of the most cynical and hardened people when it comes to PSYOPs.

I truly thought that the President had turned against the Jewish people and against America’s best interests.

I thought President Trump had turned against everything he claimed to believe.

You know, there was a video by Jon Stewart on The Daily Show that showed how his rhetoric did a complete 180, and it really scared and unsettled me.

But now I see it was truly a trick, and there is a peace agreement with Lebanon—the real peace agreement—where they are getting rid of Iran-backed Hezbollah.

I see the truth now, but at the same time, I have learned a valuable lesson: never delegate your thinking, and never delegate your trust to another human being.

Even if they seem like the best person in the world, even if they truly appear to be the most loyal, faithful, and excellent person—even if they stand on your side—the truth is that you must always retain your critical thinking.

You cannot just go by what people say, what is reported, or what is in the echo chamber of social media; you have to go and check things out for yourself.

It is interesting, because initially, I did suspect this was all a charade, but the strength and the constant reverberation of the rhetoric eventually wore me down.

It is a very difficult thing to maintain a strong mind against everything you see around you.

I understand that, but I still believe the most important thing is this: do not put your trust in man. Do not trust Trump, do not trust Netanyahu, or whoever else it is you may admire.

Trust God. When you trust God and turn to Him, everything else works out, even if it doesn’t seem to go your way in the moment.
