Okay, so Israelis are angry, and rightfully so, that a young man who visited Israel and basically many rolled out the red carpet for him, including a religious influencer, that the man would not at least repudiate singing Heil Hitler in an interview. He tried to turn it around. I get that.

But at the same time, I cannot help but think, Israel claims to have ownership of the land of Israel because of God’s promise to the Jewish people, a biblical promise. And yet, God’s name is absent from the Hatikvah. There is an absence of crying out to God and calling out to God and acknowledging God amongst the Jewish people, which is very glaring.

You know, the Christians constantly talk about God, God, God, God. They say Jesus, they say Christ is King, even if it’s meant in an anti-Semitic way, they still say it. The Muslims talk about Allah all the time, but the Jews are not talking about God.

And in the balance of things, from a spiritual perspective, if we constantly refuse to talk about God and we constantly refuse to turn to God and to invoke God, God does see this and it works against us. We need to stop worrying so much about anti-Semitism and we need to start praying and thinking about God much more. Doesn’t mean we don’t take the actions we need to take.

Doesn’t mean we don’t have good, respectful, friendly relationships insofar as it is possible with the world. It does mean we put our head on straight. And chasing clout with this kid just kind of shows the level of moral decay and wrong thinking that has infected our nation, unfortunately.
