Genocide? 5 Times Hamas Blocked Its Own People From Evacuating Gaza After October 7

  1. October 14, 2023 – Just one week after October 7th, Hamas bombed civilians attempting to evacuate Gaza as Israel opened routes for them to leave.
  2. January 29, 2024 – Tel al-Hawa – The IDF announced a humanitarian corridor to Deir al-Balah with leaflets and loudspeakers. Hamas opened fire in the area specifically to prevent residents from leaving and to block IDF movement.
  3. Shooting at the Humanitarian Corridors – Video documentation from the corridors, which were monitored by IDF tanks to ensure safe passage, shows Hamas militants shooting at Gazans trying to escape.
  4. April 2024 – As new evacuation warnings were issued, Hamas physically blocked civilians from leaving, holding them in place as human shields in active combat zones.
  5. May 2024 – Rafah – During the evacuation of nearly one million people from Rafah, Hamas held onto groups of civilians and intentionally pitched its leadership tents inside displaced persons camps to keep civilians from reaching designated safe zones.

Consider that Hamas cannibalized their own men, women and children so that they could have a front page headline in the New York Times.
