When a high-profile sexual assault scandal shook Cornell University, the ringleader was an international student from Dubai whose father was an Islamic studies scholar. Rather than confronting the ideological and cultural attitudes toward women imported from foreign societies, institutional feminists and campus administrators deflected, desperate to preserve their dogmas on diversity and cosmopolitanism.
This is not a shock. The dismissal of concerns regarding hardline Islamist attitudes to non-Muslim women, along with the open borders consensus, is not merely an administrative failure. It represents a fundamental breakdown of the state’s duty to protect its own people, particularly American women.
The truth is that when the border is dismantled and millions of unvetted young men are permitted to enter, the predictable result is an imported threat to public safety that cuts directly against our social fabric.
The numbers logged by federal authorities point directly to this ongoing hazard. In fiscal year 2024 alone, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations reported that noncitizens arrested nationwide carried 18,579 sexual-assault and other sex-offense charges or convictions on their records, with 16,552 recorded among those removed. A single nationwide enforcement sweep in February 2024 netted 275 unlawfully present foreign nationals who had already been convicted of sex offenses. These are not clerical errors. They represent thousands of real victims whose suffering was entirely preventable had the border been secured and our immigration laws enforced.
Yet establishment feminists systematically ignore these victims. Instead, their preferred defense is to cite raw national crime statistics to claim that White men commit the majority of sex crimes in the United States, arguing that public concern over migrant violence is misplaced. This deflection deliberately confuses raw domestic volume with the unique, imported danger of alien criminality. Every nation has to deal with its own criminals; no nation has an obligation to import more from abroad, particularly from cultures that hold fundamentally different views on women, consent, and public order.
The priorities of modern feminism reveal its class-bound hypocrisy. Academic and activist feminists mobilize aggressively when the alleged victims are fellow elite women navigating campus social scenes or corporate spaces. When working-class women in small towns and border states face violence from men who entered the country illegally, the silence is deafening. Acknowledging that violence would require admitting that open borders carry catastrophic human costs.
The double standard extends across elite institutions. When high-profile sexual violence occurs within academic bubbles, the cultural background of the perpetrators is routinely buried if it disrupts the prevailing narrative.
The facts consistently undermine the progressive worldview. Mainstream feminism has chosen open-borders ideology over the real, physical safety of American women, treating the devastation of victims as acceptable collateral damage.
A nation that refuses to secure its borders forfeits the right to call itself a sovereign society, and the women of that nation are left to bear the cost.
