The Fruit Fly

Good morning. I want to talk to you about the little fruit fly that got into my home and what I learned from getting rid of it. This little fruit fly entered my home in August, and I thought it was because I had left the door open.

Eventually, I could not get rid of this fly; it made friends, spawned more flies, and I threw money at the problem until I finally realized that at the bottom of my fresh fruit and vegetable piles, there was a single rotten onion that had gone putrid. It was hard to find, but once we found it, the other fruit flies were gone. We got rid of it, and there were no more fruit flies.

The same holds true for national security threats. Today is the anniversary of the October 7th attack in Israel. We just had the anniversary of 9/11, and it has been years and years with so much money, conversation, programs, and discussion about what the problem is and how to get rid of it—seemingly to no effect.

I want to suggest that one of the blockages to having an honest conversation is political correctness, which causes people like me—I am a nobody, and my videos get censored off of TikTok if I say the wrong word—to be silenced. I have self-identified feminists on Substack calling me a racist and a xenophobe because I say radical Islam is a threat and that you need to look for radical Islamists when talking about what is happening to women and national security. If we persist in walking around with this filter over our faces and refuse to follow the facts wherever they may lead, our national security will continue to be porous and at risk because we won’t be able to have honest conversations.

I am not endorsing hateful, bigoted, ridiculous, or cruel conversations—I have heard a lot of those, and I don’t like them. I am endorsing being straightforward, honest, and logical.

If we can commit to those principles, we can truly unite around them, because all of us want to be safe, prosperous, and have a good future. If there are people, groups, cults, and institutions that thrive on death, destruction, and chaos, those groups need to be identified, singled out, and removed from the mainstream of society. Otherwise, what you have are college students siding with the enemy—students who truly believe that, forget Israel, America is bad. They want to see the downfall of America. They are cheering for something, but they don’t even know what they are cheering for; they are cheering for terrorists to come, take over, and enslave them.

This is the insanity of what is going on, and we need to look it in the eyes. Be honest, direct, kind, and respectful. But remember that while we are looking to the past, terrorists are looking toward the present and the future. We need to anticipate them, be stronger than them, and stop them.

Think about it. Have a good day.
