I went back and reconstructed the timeline of this Heidi Levine story because, you know, the way it comes across, it’s like the settlers randomly attacked the people innocently harvesting their olives, and I think it’s a little more complicated than that.
Yes, Friday, October 16th was the day of the olive harvest. It’s during the olive harvest. Yes, Heidi Levine was beaten—she should not have been. Now let’s get to the timeline.
We know from timestamps on X that prior to this, at about 9:00 a.m., a young Jewish settler in the olive groves was being blocked by left-wing activists and Palestinians. Blocked meaning he was trying to go somewhere, and we can see him trying to get away from them and just like, “Hey, you know, I just want to go somewhere,” and they’re boxing him in.
What the Iranians posted was the same young man aggressing. It’s in their Instagram stories, and they wrapped it in with their coverage of the Heidi Levine event saying that the Palestinians were part of the resistance, and, you know, he is the colonizer and he was part of it. It looks like he’s just randomly standing there, but they somehow manipulated the footage to make it seem like he was involved in an incident he had nothing to do with. Okay, this was posted to X at 9:00 a.m. Israeli time. Remember that timestamp.
An hour later, at about 10:00 a.m., you have someone from the settlements saying that the Palestinians are coming in, and, you know, they’re armed and they’re looking for trouble. He posted from an area called Birqa—and I may be mispronouncing it—but Birqa is not far from Abu Falah, okay, and it’s also not far from Netzach Shmuel. Netzach Shmuel is where the settlers came from who confronted what was going on in Abu Falah, okay, remember that.
So now it’s 10:19 a.m. Okay, so it’s about 20 minutes later. We have the Iranian press—so-called press photographer—posting a reel to Instagram, and he’s showing streams, streams, floods, dozens of young Palestinian men throwing stones at the settlers, okay? They’re running up a hill. So Netzach Shmuel is at the top of the hill and these guys—these terrorists, in my mind, because they’re looking to kill people, stones kill people—are at the bottom of the hill.
What happened before that? Well, Jasper Nathaniel posted in his blog—he was the one who picked Heidi Levine up off the floor, he’s a Jewish-American “journalist,” he’s very much on the side of the Palestinians—he posted that sort of out of nowhere, the settlers from Netzach Shmuel were standing at the top of the hill with binoculars, watching what was going on.
So now observed out of sequence, it would seem that they were just looking to victimize the Palestinians when they started picking the olives. But if you go back and look at what was happening just prior, there were reports of Palestinians coming up and harassing the settlers, armed, looking for trouble, so logically they were scanning Abu Falah, looking to see if anyone was coming from there.
Now when this confrontation occurred, okay, remember 10:19 a.m., you have the Palestinians clashing with the settlers. It would seem that a group of the settlers came down from up there, and they were confronted by the mass of Palestinians. But it could also be that the Palestinians were running up toward Netzach Shmuel to try to attack Netzach Shmuel, and the settlers repelled them. We really don’t have information on that. What we know is that there was a large clash, the Iranians posted it, and the Israelis came by to break it up with tear gas.
Now the Israelis were there, timestamp I believe 10:35 a.m. So between 10:19 a.m. and 10:35 a.m., there’s this pitched battle, and the Palestinians retreat when there’s the tear gas, and then Heidi Levine is left alone.
And that is when we see the footage that the settlers were so-called beating her, but really they were taking her camera. Because logically, you have the Palestinians coming in with the cameras, and the Iranians and the left-wing activists—they want to get negative footage of the settlers, and most likely they didn’t want her to post the distorted footage. Remember, she’s all kind of covered up. They have no idea who this is. They probably didn’t even know she was an elderly, well-known freelance journalist. They probably thought she was a Palestinian. Who knows? Who knows of what age?
In any case, they shove her to the ground. There is footage of someone with his foot over her body. I assume that she was kicked, she was beaten, she was badly, badly hurt. They take the camera. The whole thing happens very quickly.
How do you know this? Because in other footage, you see that Jasper Nathaniel—I keep calling him Nathaniel Jasper—he’s running over to her with some other guy, and it’s happening while the tear gassing is happening. Because they’re talking about the tear gas, and they pick her up and get her out of there. And prior to that, the settlers had sat her up. That’s not the behavior of people who want to kill someone.
But in any case, they lift her up, they get her out of there, and they start posting that a journalist was beaten. Jasper Nathaniel posts about how the olive trees were burned. But in fact, the Palestinians were attacking. So when the settlers were in the middle of the attack, that’s when the olive trees were set on fire. So this whole thing happened in the midst of a clash. It did not happen that the settlers just came down and randomly burned olive trees, or randomly nearly beat a woman to death. It was very much staged for public consumption. And that’s really the point.
You know, people say to me, “How can you be so heartless? This poor woman?” I’m not the heartless one. The heartless one is the one who embeds the journalists, who sets these things up, who comes in armed, knowing the settlers are going to respond. They come in, they set this up, the violence ensues, they cover the violence, and real people get hurt.
Thankfully, Heidi Levine is okay, and everyone should be okay. But the public should really know about the dirty tricks that these Iranian and other propagandists are pulling. They’re pulling it in the West Bank, they’re pulling it in France, they’re pulling it in the United States, and the people are being deeply misled.
And we need to wake up because, folks, this is our lives. It’s not just them. Terrorism is something that affects the entire world, and it hides under good-guy propaganda.
