If there’s one thing I cannot stand, it is a hypocrite. These people who have loudly proclaimed their fealty to the Constitution but not a president—“no kings,” and so on—are such a gigantic bunch of hypocrites because they regularly fail to investigate the most basic logical connections. Even the simplest person can see that something very unconstitutional may be happening.
What am I talking about? The respected reporter Catherine Herridge—not a conspiracy theorist—has unearthed an email from November 2020 where the CIA basically admits to altering the president’s daily briefing to remove the suggestion that China could be trying to influence the election. This is the same CIA whose former officers make all these proclamations about wanting to uphold the republic.
It’s not the official CIA making those public proclamations. It’s people who speak in the name of the CIA. They go on Twitter and have so much to say. Yet here we have an allegation of real subversion of the most important document the president reads.
It’s the summary of what’s going on. If you don’t tell the president what’s happening, or worse, if you mislead him to the point where he doesn’t perceive an actual military threat, what does that make you? If this proves to be true, I would say—and I’m not a lawyer—that those responsible could be liable for criminal prosecution.
In her interview with Katie Pavlich, Herridge described a massive effort by China as multidomain (I incorrectly said “multimodal” in my remarks).
What does that mean? In the context of China’s People’s Liberation Army, multidomain refers to integrating operations across interconnected environments: land, sea, air, space, cyberspace, the electromagnetic spectrum, and the information and cognitive spaces where public opinion and decision-making are influenced.
Rather than treating conflict as isolated battles on land or sea, this approach treats it as an interconnected system. Military operations, cyber activity, electronic warfare, intelligence collection, and efforts to influence an adversary’s perceptions can work together toward a strategic objective.
Related concepts include disrupting an opponent’s operational systems rather than merely destroying individual weapons; linking intelligence sensors and precision-strike assets through integrated data networks; and using artificial intelligence to process information and accelerate decisions. The broader approach also draws attention to the relationship between military capabilities, civilian infrastructure, and non-kinetic forms of pressure.
That is more specific than my shorthand, “all assets deployed.” The word “multidomain” does not necessarily mean that every available asset was deployed, nor does it establish which activities took place in a particular operation. But it does explain why an investigation should examine possible connections across different kinds of activity rather than treating every event as necessarily unrelated.
To me, this is all the more reason to investigate what China did, what American intelligence agencies knew, and whether the president received an accurate account.
Something else happened in 2020 that we haven’t been allowed to talk about or speculate about freely: COVID. I think we are allowed to ask for an investigation into whether it had any connection to this broader effort. Was COVID deliberately used to disrupt American life, cause chaos, or throw turbulence into the voting process? What evidence supports or rules out those possibilities?
The existence of a multidomain military concept does not establish that COVID was designed, deliberately released, or used to influence an American election. Those are distinct claims requiring specific evidence. But asking investigators to examine them is not the same as declaring them proven.
If China was interfering in the election as part of a coordinated effort, investigators should also examine whether its actions fall under the executive order blocking assets of foreign entities that interfere in our elections.
These are major questions. Where’s ABC? Where’s NBC? Where’s CBS? Why aren’t major investigative outlets and journalists asking them loudly?
There is another story people should be talking about. In Germany, the winner of Berlin’s mayoral election reportedly admitted to Der Spiegel magazine that her remarks were being made under duress from none other than Hamas.
People ask, “What do we have to do with Israel? Let’s get out of Israel.” But the concern does not stop at Israel’s borders. The terrorists attacking Israel also threaten the free West.
This German politician is furious and wants to sue. Publicly, she talks about making Germany safer and her commitment to doing so. Privately, she fears for her safety and her family’s safety. The hypocrisy she worries about affecting her affects everyone.
To say this is an issue of one political party or another misses the point. The hypocrisy of the establishment is a war against the average citizen. You have no ability to choose your leaders if you don’t have real information on which to base your choice.
I respect the intentions of people on both the left and the right. I am not someone who says, “We have to vote red, vote red, vote red. Blue is terrible.” I had a pretty open mind throughout my life, and I used to be a Democrat.
The reason I advocate for the Republican Party now is that I believe the Democratic Party has been taken over by ideologues who are in bed with radical Islamists and cannot call them out. Otherwise, I would never be as worried about a midterm or presidential election as I am today.
But the way out is not to prioritize one political party over another forever. I don’t agree with that. What needs to happen is to restore the integrity of the information we receive so that we can have real, robust debate among people who believe very different things and come up with ideas that make sense to the broad majority of Americans.
Having been born in the early ’70s, I remember when we had those debates. Now, people are so polarized and one-sided. Grown adults, educated people, influencers, politicians, and Hollywood celebrities—people who once would have been more balanced—sound insanely extremist.
We all know this isn’t normal. We need to restore normalcy to our system.
That starts with demanding accurate information and investigating serious allegations, including what China did in 2020 and whether any evidence connects COVID to an effort to remove President Trump from office and get Joe Biden in.
We ought to be screaming like hell—not drawing conclusions, but asking the questions and insisting that the answers rest on evidence.
