Good morning, let’s talk about the Ukrainian torture chambers that were supposedly just discovered and are now flooding X.
You know, when the Ukraine-Russia war started, I started writing about it. In fact, I started writing about it and documenting it before anything ever happened. And I kept saying: this is not a normal conflict. The Biden administration is stoking the flames here.
Sure enough, my social media—specifically my LinkedIn account—was repeatedly targeted. Not for saying things that could be untrue, but for documenting things that were absolutely true. And it later turned out that the FBI was actually taking tips from Ukraine and passing those tips on to major social media platforms to flag “misinformation,” “disinformation,” or propaganda.
It wasn’t long ago that we were in the thick of this thing, and they were celebrating Zelensky as this massive hero. They had him plastered all over magazines. They celebrated him in Congress. People had Ukraine flag stickers on nearby cars, and Ukrainian flags were flying everywhere. Members of Congress were literally yelling “Slava Ukraini.”
It was an unbelievable, coordinated effort to sell the Ukraine-Russia war as a good thing. But it was never a good thing. It was a sinkhole for absolute corruption.
And the worst thing about it was that opening your mouth to say something meant you could lose your professional standing—your presence in the modern town hall where everyone interacts with each other.
I say this to you not to tell you that there’s no merit to the war. I say this to you not to say that Trump and the Republicans are perfect—they’re not. What I am telling you is to think about these Biden-era efforts as emblematic of a deep state, which has fully overtaken the Democratic Party. It’s gotten to the point where Chuck Schumer is speaking out against Haley Stevens, when he should be defending Jews from open antisemitism.
