There is a new story involving J.P. Morgan where a former employee accused a superior of racism and of attempting to turn him into a “sex slave.”

These salacious claims generated significant media and social media attention. However, after a full investigation, J.P. Morgan found the allegations to be entirely baseless. Now, after the damage has been done, the complaint has been retracted to “make corrections.”

But who is going to restore the executive’s reputation? This is incredibly unfair; anyone who interacts with her in the future may hold a bias against her because of these false headlines.
