The new U.S. counterterrorism strategy is out. I do not speak for the government; I speak only for myself. What’s notable is that two of the three groups we are fighting in this country consist of brainwashed extremists: Islamic extremists and far-left Antifa extremists.

When individuals hold binary beliefs of extreme good versus extreme evil and are willing to commit violence to support their version of “good,” they become a human bomb more dangerous than any weapon that can be deployed. At that level of extremism, they are almost impossible to stop.
