Agentic AI takes care of tasks without you having to be there. It’s sort of like a bot. Today, people are using these bots to carry out tasks when their computer is closed and the bots have login credentials to their accounts. They work independently. There are multiple bots. They may work together. They store information in the vendor’s cloud. And basically they allow one person to have the working capacity of 10 or 20 people. If you apply this to an organization, you could have an organization of 300 people with the capacity of 30,000. Just think about that.

The issue with agentic AI is that although it creates tremendous possibilities and efficiencies and is economically very helpful. It also creates an opening for criminals and terrorists to hide behind bought identities and carry out attacks. This is a major emerging threat that we all need to be aware of. For now, secure your login credentials unless you have a solid plan in place.
