The reformed anti-Semite Lucas Gage just published an essay on Substack about getting his patriotism back. And you know it’s interesting to me that very often we see anti-government ideologues writing about how America is evil and Israel is evil. The two for them go hand in hand. And it’s never balanced. It’s never thinking from both sides of the coin. There’s never a positive end to the story about what things will look like when we are so-called free from the colonialist influence. It’s all about taking America and Israel down.

And the takeaway from that is that America and Israel as allies pose a huge, huge threat to violent extremists. And if for no other reason than that violent extremists love to use ideology and propaganda and fake arguments to attack America and Israel, I think it’s worth supporting this alliance more than ever.

Believe it or not, I think we are very close to finally taking them down because people are starting to question all the propaganda and the truth is coming out. And once the truth comes out and it’s incontrovertible and the mass brainwashing falls apart, the rest goes like dominoes.

So just a couple of thoughts. But patriotism and support for Israel actually are very much the same thing. It is not to say that America and Israel have to agree on everything or that American politicians should do what Israelis want or vice versa. Of course not. It’s always America first and Israel first for these respective countries. But where the alliance comes together, that is where we see the terrorists defeated and defeating terrorists saves each and every one of us every single day.
