Like many of you, I’m following the case of the Cornell gang rape investigation. And there’s a detail which is not making sense. According to the district attorney, the statement by Jane Doe was that she voluntarily took drugs, she voluntarily engaged in sexual activity.
But according to the campus police, which issued a campus crime alert, she was forced to take drugs, forced to engage in sexual activity. And they posted that warning on campus. So, you know, which is it? And why aren’t we getting a straight answer? Something about this just smells really bad.
And I’m not seeing anything in the public record to reconcile it.
