Class of ‘94

“I’m Allison, Cornell, class of 1994 graduate, and what is going on now has been going on for quite some time. I myself reported two incidents at least to campus police: one when I was a freshman and I found out that the fraternity across the road from us created a room to spy on all the women in the dorm and watch them….[the second was that] I witnessed at a fraternity party a woman unconscious being dragged into a room. That’s when I learned about “trains” and “trolleys,” which is what was going on in that room. That fraternity was gang raping women who were unconscious at parties and filming it and showing it to the brothers as one of the last things they did during Pledge Week. I brought that in and I brought it to the Cornell Daily Sun. Can we guess what happened there? This is not an incident of now. This has been going on for decades and decades, and women have been reporting it, and it’s been going unacknowledged, swept under the rug, like we’re the problem. We’re not the problem….and we don’t forget.” – Allison Fishman Task, Instagram, September 30, 2026
